Visiting Idaho- Part 1

As I had shared yesterday, I live in Idaho. Many tend to imagine Idaho somewhat boring. Honestly, I love Idaho and all it has to offer. Let’s start off with Boise. Boise is a beautiful city, it is also known for the City of Trees.

If you ever visit the capital of Idaho, I recommend making a couple of stops. First of all, please take the time to visit the Boise River and float the Boise River. You usually float about 6 miles down the Boise River and you will enjoy beautiful views.

Another beautiful place in the Boise area is Lucky Peak. It is the perfect spot for a picnic, swimming, boating and even to just relax.

Please take the time to as well visit the Boise Depot, it is an old train station but it gives a beautiful view to Boise and you can see the Capitol Building from there.

Visit the Capitol Building as well, it is pretty amazing to tour and usually is open everyday.

Another place to visit in Boise is Table-Rock, it offers a stunning view of Boise. I recommend going once it’s dark.

Below are some pictures, most of them are not mine but they have a source. I will update the pictures with my own, once I can find my memory card.

Another Day.. Another Post!

A little more about me,  I am a girl who lives in Idaho (Potato Land).. I do love potatoes, in every possible way: fried, baked, cheesy [yumm!]— anyways back on track. I love to enjoy nature and I love traveling.

Idaho has very pretty scenic views, so if you have never been to Idaho, I definitely recommend you to visit. Later, I will share some pictures of the places that are very pretty in Idaho and maybe it will encourage you to visit some time.

I as well, have lived in Mexico. I grew up in the state of Zacatecas.  I have not gone back since I was 15. So hopefully in a near future I can visit some family and visit some place that Zacatecas has to offer.

My mom is from Mazatlan, a very known place. I love visiting Mazatlan, its BEAUTIFUL! Writing about this makes me miss Mexico so much.

Lately I have been discussing with my hubby on where should we go next for vacation. Last year we visited San Juan, Puerto Rico for our honeymoon. I must say, I LOVED IT! People were so friendly, and very helpful. We booked our honeymoon through Expedia and we got an awesome deal. This year, we are thinking on going to Cancun, Mexico. I am a Mexican-American girl, who grew up in Mexico, yet I have never visited Cancun. I think it will be fun to go there and visit the Riviera Maya. Plus, I know the Mexican currency pretty well. My husband still gets a bit confused with pesos.

Hopefully soon we can figure out where to go, and start planning. I like planning ahead and plus you get better deals!.

Any tips for me?? or where you have been? I would love some advice, so send it my way.

Till next time!
